Congressional Updates
The
Department receives more than 30% of its
funding from the federal revenue streams.
It is important that the Department
track federal legislation and keep
Congressional members informed of potential impacts to wildlife and wildlife resources in this state as a result of that legislation. Congressional Legislation moves much slower, and has far more introduced legislation than the state, resultantly staff reports on Congressional activities on a monthly basis in its own publication: Congressional Courant.
