Hunters can now apply online

PHOENIX – Hunters can now apply online at azgfd.gov for the fall big game hunts, say Arizona Game and Fish Department officials.

“Last year, we had to go back to a paper application draw until we could get this new system in place. The good news for hunters is that the online application system is officially back in operation,” says Assistant Director Dana Yost.

Yost says the online application is much more customer friendly because it won’t let you make a mistake when applying. “No matter how much we try to assist people filling out applications, the error rate for those applying via paper applications is high. The online error rate is zero.  It's good to have it back.”

The fall hunt application deadline is 7 p.m. June 13 in department offices; postmarks don’t count. The printed regulations should be available at license dealers throughout the state by mid-May.
