Bat Workshop Registration

NOTE: The Oct. 10 bat workshop is now full and we are unable to accommodate any additional participants. Please watch for future workshop announcements. Thank you for your interest in this program.

Join Arizona Game and Fish Department bat biologists for an evening of watching and learning about bats on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Phoenix's largest bat colony. Watch over 2,700 Mexican Freetail bats as they leave their roost for a night of feeding on insects over Phoenix. Live bats will be on hand for close up inspection, along with free posters and other materials.  Don't miss this opportunity to meet some of the Valley's more secretive residents, dispel the common myths and learn about the benefits bats provide. We will be meeting at Squaw Peak School located at 4601 N. 34th Street, just north of Campbell Avenue. Shuttles will run every 10 minutes from the school parking lot to the bat viewing site, with the last shuttle leaving at 5:40 p.m.  The event is free to the public. Participation is limited to the first 40 people to register. Note: The workshop is now full and we are unable to accommodate any additional participants.
