New! 2009 Spring Draw Information
The deadline to submit applications for 2009 spring turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear is Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008. Hunt draw information and application forms are available for download from this web site by using the links below. Printed regulation booklets and applications should also be available at license dealers statewide no later than Sept. 15. Please note that no online application process is available for this draw. Only paper applications submitted by mail or drop off at department offices are eligible for entry into this draw.

Notice: online draw application service is not available. The application form PDF above can be filled out using a computer and keyboard but must be printed, signed and submitted by mail or delivery to any department office. The form can also be printed and filled out using an ink pen. Remember, the online application process has been indefinitely suspended and only paper applications can be used to enter the draw.
Fall
2008 Draw Information - Draw Result, Leftover Permit Information Available Now
The
deadline for the submission of
hunt permit-tag applications for fall 2008
hunts for deer, turkey, javelina, bighorn
sheep and buffalo was June 10,
2008. Draw results are available now by clicking the link below. To view results, you'll need to provide your Sportsman's ID (for most people, this is their Social Security Number) and your date of birth. Results are also available by telephone at (602) 942-3000.
More than 3,000 deer tags, 350 turkey tags, and 2,000 junior javelina tags are leftover and will be issued first-come, first-serve. Applications for all leftover tags will be accepted by mail only on or after 8 a.m. (MST) on Aug. 11, 2008. Click the link below for a list of leftover tags.

Draw and License Information
The
department has indefinitely suspended the
option to apply for big game hunt permit-tags
online and to purchase hunting and fishing
licenses online or by telephone. Paper applications
must be submitted by mail or dropped off
at a department office for all big game
hunt permit-tag draws. Applications can
be found at all license dealers or by downloading
a copy from the link found on the right
hand column of this web page. License can
be purchased from more than 300 license
dealers statewide. For

Arizona Big Game Super Raffle
Here’s
your chance to hunt big game trophies in
Arizona and the price is right! The Arizona
Game and Fish Commission in cooperation
with various state and national sportsman’s
groups will sponsor a raffle for the 2008-2009
hunting season. One tag for nine different
big game species will be drawn in this raffle.
Tickets range in price from $5 - $25, depending on the species. Mail orders for tickets must be received no later than June 27, 2008. Online sales will end July 13, 2008. The public drawing for winners will occur in July 19, 2008. Every dollar raised through ticket sales of each species goes directly toward management projects that benefit that species in Arizona.
