Welcome to Focus Wild Arizona

The Arizona Game and Fish Department’s award-winning* environmental education program is available free to teachers. This program promotes not only a sense of awareness and stewardship of the world around us, but also uses the environment as a context for learning science, social studies, math and language arts.

About the program

The program includes complete lesson plans, books, posters, workshops and much more. Many of these resources are available for download directly from this web site using the links to the left. Others are available through each regional office or the department’s main office in Phoenix. For information about obtaining any resource contact Sharon Voiland by phone at 623-236-7220 or by email at svoiland@azgfd.gov.

* Recent awards include 1st place in Education from the Association for Conservation Information (2005) and an Award of Merit at the Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards (2006).
