Arizona Game and Fish Commission Appointment Recommendation Board
Per Arizona State Statute 17-202 (became effective on July 2010), the Arizona Game and Fish Commission Appointment Recommendation Board shall assist the governor by interviewing, evaluating and recommending candidates for appointment to the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. The Commission Recommendation Board shall recommend at least two, but no more than five, candidates to the governor. The governor must select and appoint a commissioner from the list submitted by the board.

The meeting will be held at the Arizona Game and Fish Department headquarters at 5000 W. Carefree Highway in Phoenix. Agenda items include review and approval of the minutes from the Nov. 5 and Nov. 13, 2012 meetings, and discussion of board operating procedures.

The Arizona Game and Fish Commission Appointment Recommendation Board will meet beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, to evaluate and select for interview applicants for the 2013 vacancy on the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. The meeting will be held at the Arizona Game and Fish Department headquarters at 5000 W. Carefree Highway in Phoenix.
The board will meet again beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Game and Fish headquarters at 5000 W. Carefree Highway in Phoenix to interview applicants and forward recommendations to the Governor’s office.
Both meetings are open to the public.
