EXPLORE BOWHUNTING PROGRAM

Bowhunter in forest

The Explore Bowhunting Program was developed by the Archery Trade Association to get more kids and adults engaged in outdoor activities.

The program contains 22 different activities to teach basic bowhunting skills, photography and wildlife watching.

The program can be used in school or after school, Parks and Recreation Departments, outdoor education centers and other community outreach programs.

  

 

TREE STAND SAFETY

  

Tree stand accidents are the number one cause of serious hunting related injuries. Most injured hunters were not wearing a safety harness.

Special Instructions:

On field day bring your completion certificate from the online course, your own archery equipment (field points only). Loaner gear is available with advance notice. Be prepared for exam and walk in desert, no sandals.

***This course is for bowhunter education and certification. You will not receive a bonus point.
