Make copies of the Reading a Map, Can You Swim with the Fishes? and the Striped Bass Story Rubric for each student.
Make copies of the Map of Lake Pleasant and My Field Journal for each group.
Review "The Mysterious Case of the Bass and the Lake" webquest including all Internet links.
Create a poster-size map of Lake Pleasant (optional).
Divide the students into groups of 3 or 4 students.
