2008 Local Sportsmen’s Grant Awards

 

Local sportsmen’s Grant Program received twenty five applications. The amount available is $ 50,000.00. The following ten projects are awarded.

  1. LSG08002 - The Arizona Chapter of The Hunt of a Lifetime, for the project “Arizona Hunt of a Lifetime.”  The award is in the amount of $2,225.00.
  1. LSG08004 - Yuma Women’s Reel and Rifle Club, for the project “Fish Fortuna Juniors’ Fishing Clinic.”  The award is in the amount of $4,305.00.
  1. LSG08006 - Tucson Rifle Club, Inc., for the project “Air Rifles for the Tucson Rifle Club’s Junior Shooting Program.”  The award is in the amount of $1,043.00.
  1. LSG08010 - Anglers United, for the project “Just for Kids Fishing Festival.”  The award is in the amount of
    $7,623.00.
  1. LSG08015 -  Arizona Elk Society for the project “Arizona Elk Society Expanded Wapiti Weekend.” The award is in the amount of $2,480.00.
  1. LSG08016 - Arizona Elk Society for the project “Arizona Elk Society Youth Archery Program.”  The award is in the amount of $4,000.00.
  1. LSG08019 - Arizona Wildlife Federation for the project “Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Shooting Program.”  The award is in the amount of $1,480.00.
  1. LSG08021 - Yuma Women’s Reel and Rifle Club, for the project “Hunting and Fishing Promotion Program.”  The award is in the amount of $11,695.00.
  1. LSG08024 - The Christian Sportsman Group for the project “The Christian Sportsman.”  The award is in the amount of $4,975.00.


  2. SG08025 - Chandler Rod and Gun Club, for the project “Chandler Rod and Gun Clubs (CRG) Cast & Blast Weekend.” The award is in the amount of   $6,974.00.
