2009 Local Sportsmen’s Grant Awards

 

Local sportsmen’s Grant Program received thirteen applications. The amount available is $50,000.00. The following ten projects are awarded.

  1. LSG09001 – The Chandler Rod and Gun Club, for the project “Chandler Rod and Gun Club Cast and Blast Weekend.” The award is in the amount of $ 10,710.00.
  1. LSG09002 – The Rio Salado Sportsmen's Club, for the project “Beginning Shooter Program.” The award is in the amount of $ 1,230.00.
  1. LSG09003 – The Prescott Sportsmen's Club, for the project “Prescott Sportsmen's Club NRA Intro to Shooting and Safety Course.” The award is in the amount of $ 1,540.00.
  1. LSG09004 – The Rio Salado Sportsmen's Club, for the project “Dove and Quail Training Shoot.”  The award is in the amount of $ 960.00.
  1. LSG09006 - The Phoenix Rod and Gun Club, for the project “Phoenix Junior Rifle Club Expansion.” The award is in the amount of $ 12,880.00.
  1. LSG09007 – The Arizona Trappers Association, for the project “Arizona Trappers Association Youth Camp.”  The award is in the amount of $ 5,000.00.
  1. LSG09008 – Becoming an Outdoor Woman (BOW), for the project “Becoming an Outdoor Woman (BOW) shooting program.” The award is in the amount of $ 2,425.00
  1. LSG09010 – The Arizona Elk Society, for the project “A youth Recruiting and Education SHOT.” The award is in the amount of $ 5,500.00.
  1. LSG09012 – The Arizona State Rifle & Pistol Association, for the project “Ammunition Components for Arizona Rifle Team.” The award is in the amount of $ 9,205.00.

  2. LSG09013 – The Cochise Bird Dog Club, for the project “Southern Arizona Youth Quail Hunt.” The award is in the amount of   $ 550.00.
