Fish Department provides a Weekly Report
containing the latest information available
on current bills affecting the Department.

It is important that the Department
track federal legislation and keep
Congressional members informed of potential impacts to wildlife and wildlife resources in this state. Congressional Legislation moves much slower, and has far more introduced measures than the state. Resultantly, Department staff reports on monthly Congressional activities and maintains a quarterly publication: Congressional Courant.

Matters, which is written specifically
for Legislators in order to keep
them informed regarding Department
