When the legislature
is in session, the Arizona Game and
Fish Department provides a Weekly Report
containing the latest information available
on current bills affecting the Department.

- State Legislature
Congressional Updates
The
Department receives more than 30% of its
funding from federal revenue streams.
It is important that the Department
track federal legislation and keep
Congressional members informed of potential impacts to wildlife and wildlife resources in this state. Congressional Legislation moves much slower, and has far more introduced measures than the state. Resultantly, Department staff reports on monthly Congressional activities in its own publication: Congressional Courant.
