COMPENSATION
Beginning salary is based on the education and experience of the applicant. Newly hired Wildlife Manager I’s (Grade 19) will remain in the position for two years. During the first year Wildlife Managers are on original probation. After successful completion of probation, permanent status will be granted.
Upon successful completion of the second year, Wildlife Manager I’s may be promoted to the Wildlife Manager II position, at which time they will be entitled to receive a promotional pay increase. After successful promotion to the Wildlife Manager II (Grade 20) position, and after meeting additional criteria related to time in grade, training and experience, the position could potentially promote to a Wildlife Manager III, grade 21.
After completion of initial probation, Wildlife Managers may apply for any position within the Department for which they qualify.
