The hiring process consists of several elements and successful completion/pass of each element is required for hiring consideration.

• Application via the Arizona Statewide Job Web site
• Fingerprinting
• Background Investigation
• Polygraph Examination
• Interview
• Psychological Assessment
• Medical Examination/Drug Screen
• Physical Fitness Evaluation
• Present/Past Employer and Personal Reference Checks

In-state applicants may need to come to the Phoenix area up to five times prior to the start date to participate in the interview and testing. Out-of-state applicants should plan to spend at least five consecutive days in Phoenix.  Applicants are responsible for the cost of all travel, lodging, meals, local transportation and any other related expenses when traveling to Phoenix.
