  Guided Bird Walk
  Attend one of the guided bird walks to learn about native birds and their habitat at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Arboretum visitors are fortunate that some of Arizona's most skilled birders volunteer their time leading these seasonal walks. Don't miss your chance to learn visual and vocal identification alongside avian photographers Kathe Anderson and Kurt Radamaker will lead the Bird Walk Nov. 4.  Walks are included with adult admission of $7.50, or $3 for ages 5-12. The Arboretum is located at U.S. 60, milepost 223, about one hour due east of Phoenix.

  Fall Color Photography Classes
  Autumn foliage peaks in trees around Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park in late November; spaces are limited so sign up soon if you'd like to learn how to photograph Fall Foliage with expert photographers on Thanksgiving weekend. Bob Estrin teaches a class Saturday, Nov. 25 and Scottsdale Fine Arts photographer is the guest instructor Nov. 26. Daily adult admission of $7.50 includes the class, but pre-registration is required. To sign up or read more visit the Arboretum Web site.
