International Championships

The Arizona Scholastic Clay Target Program International Championship was held on April 28th & 29th, 2012 at the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club. The Arizona State Junior Olympics were held in conjunction with this shoot.

All properly registered SCTP members qualified for both awards and also the top three shooters for each discipline received an automatic invitation to Nationals. This process is the pathway to the Olympics!

The three disciplines offered were International Skeet, Bunker Trap and International Doubles Trap.

The amount of registered athletes was surprisingly low and we hope to find more shooters for next year’s International Championship. All athletes need to remember that participating in this shoot is one of the key steps to possibly reaching the Olympics. Click here to find out more information on how to reach the Olympics. If the Olympics are not your goal then by participating you will meet great people and learn another fun and challenging discipline.

The scores from out 2012 SCTP International Championship are attached below.
