Shooter’s Campground has 96 sites. 54 sites have water and electricity (30 & 50 amp) hookups and 42 sites have no utilities and are available for self contained units or tent use.

  • 3 restrooms with showers
  • 2 group fire rings
  • Dump station (for paying guests only)
  • All sites have a charcoal grill

Central Shooter’s Campground

The new Central Shooter’s Campground offers 22 camp sites that can be reserved featuring full hook ups (water, sewer, and 30 and/or 50 amp electricity). This campground is located south of Calle Silhouette next to the Mounted Shooting Arenas. Reservations may be made using the request form.

Covered barn stalls are available for horses. Note that this is not a boarding facility and owner is responsible for horse care and stall cleaning. Owners must make arrangements for bedding, as BASF does not provide it.

Campground Rules

This campground is provided for your convenience while shooting at this facility. You must be an active shooter. If you are not shooting in an event, you must shoot at least every other day.
Storage of property is not permitted.
Camping fees must be paid in advance at the Main Range Office or Shooting Sports Center.
Checkout time is 12 noon. You will be accessed an additional night of camping if you fail to make arrangement with the Main Range Office regarding late check out.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Disruptive behavior is not allowed.
 
After hours access is through the campground east gate. Please obtain a gate code from the Main Range Office for after hours access.
The range areas are closed after hours. Do not enter the range areas when the Facility is closed.
Fires are restricted to charcoal in grills.
Permission must be obtained from Main Range office to use fire pits.
Red ash cans are for cold ashes. Please use them when disposing of your ashes.
 
No grey water discharge except into the dump station.
Restroom, showers and the dump station are for paying campground guests only.
All trash must be placed in the provided trash containers
All pets must be leashed. Pet waste will be removed by owner.
Camping is permitted on numbered pads. More than one camp may be on a pad, but each are assessed separate camping fees.
 
No unlicensed vehicles or expired plates.
No off road driving. Driving off roadways or parking lots is prohibited.
Shavings or straw for bedding in horse stalls are not permitted because of high winds. Pine pellets or wood stove pellets are recommended alternatives.
Horse stalls must be cleaned completely and all bedding and waste removed and placed in the appropriate trash container by renter before checking-out.
Please follow these rules while using this campground. Violations will be enforced. Violators may be asked to leave the facility and subject to criminal and/or civil sanctions.
