New! - Free Women's Introductory Shotgun Shooting

The Ben Avery Shooting Facility is owned and operated by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, and is the largest public operated shooting facility in the country.

Our world-class shooting range is a city of Phoenix Point of Pride. It has received a Five Star rating from the National Association of Shooting Ranges, meaning that it is the best of the best at providing a quality recreation experience; ours is the first government facility to receive this designation.

Men, women and children of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Trained safety officers are on the firing line at all times to oversee safety and to offer informal coaching when needed.
