The Operating Under the Influence (OUI) Enforcement Grant Program is intended to facilitate expansion of boating enforcement and public safety efforts statewide though a funding mechanism specifically aimed at discouraging, preventing, and removing impaired boat operators from Arizona waterways.  This grant program will allow agencies to expand their operational OUI enforcement efforts.  For State Fiscal Year 2008 - 2009, the total grant funding available for the OUI Enforcement Grant Program is $250,000. The Boating Safety Grant Program is intended to facilitate expansion of boating safety and education efforts statewide through proactive projects aimed at reducing boat accident rates, with an emphasis on identified problem areas. For State Fiscal Year 2008 - 2009, the total grant funding available for the Boating Safety Grant Program is $450,000.
