The second in our Commissioner’s Cup series of SCTP State Championships was Saturday, April 23 at the Tucson Trap and Skeet Club for Trap. Thank you to Tucson Trap and Skeet for hosting the event and as always thank you to all of our parents, grandparents, and coaches who really make the event possible.
Our state trap scores continue to improve and great performances were turned in by athletes in all divisions. There were also several personal best scores and first time 25 and 50 straights. The wind was at times challenging making athlete’s performances more rewarding. Our top individual score was a 195 and team total of 925.
I look forward to seeing everyone for our Skeet Commissioner's Cup at Ben Avery on May 7. For those of you interested, remember our Junior Olympics for all trap, skeet, and doubles trap is April 30 and May 1.
