Upper Verde River Wildlife Area – The Arizona Game and Fish Department has purchased additional acreage for the Upper Verde Wildlife Area to help preserve the headwaters of the Verde River.
47 Ranch - A conservation easement between a rancher and the Arizona Game and Fish Dept. will allow vital habitat to stay open for wildlife.
Bird Talk – we introduce you to a woman at the Birdy Verde Nature Festival who really can talk to the animals.

100th Bighorn – Arizona’s bighorn sheep translocation program reached two milestones this year. It’s the 50th anniversary of these efforts and this is our 100th such release. We take a look at the efforts to enhance bighorn sheep populations in their historic ranges.
Wings over Willcox – Enjoy the beauty of the Sand Hill Cranes as they return to their winter range near Willcox.
Bat Cave – A bat expert from the Arizona Game and Fish Department helps a landowner build an unusual home for bats on his property.

Lees Ferry Flood – A man made flood generated by releasing water from Glen Canyon Dam into the Grand Canyon was designed to restore beaches as well as help the native fish populations.
Nature Song - We’ll introduce you to a man dedicated to recording and preserving the songs of birds.
Lake Stocking – Golden Algae has taken its toll on the fish population in some of our lakes, in this story we’ll show what the Arizona Game and Fish Department is doing to help the large mouth bass population in the Salt River Reservoirs.

Cardboard boats – The great cardboard boat regatta takes place on Tempe Town Lake.
Payson Kids – As part of the urban fishing program, 5th graders from Payson Elementary schools enjoy a free day of fishing.

ADA Field - Over the last few years the Department has spent considerable time and money to rebuild and repair the Ben Avery Clay Target Center and one skeet range is specifically designed to help some very special guests.

Bald Eagle Banding - Every year biologists from the Arizona Game and Fish Department attach leg identification bands to young bald eagles. This year, as part of the department’s Focus Wild education program, a group of home schooled children and their parents were invited along to observe this fascinating process.
National Trails Day - Hiking trails in our national forests are a treasure enjoyed by thousands of people, on this day we take you out to Bill Williams Mountain and show how a group of volunteers is working to keep those trails safe and open.
Predators – When you think “predator” the image of large mammals like mountain lions or wolves might come to mind, but in this story you may be surprised by some of the creatures who also fit that description.

Fence Removal – Barbed wire fencing has been a staple of cattle ranching in the west for over 100 years, but what happens when the wire is no longer needed? We’ll show you how groups like the Arizona Elk Society are removing miles of wire to improve habitat for wildlife.
AZ Wildlife Views Magazine - Arizona Wildlife Views television show began airing in the late 60’s – so it’s been on the air a long time, but the Arizona Wildlife Views Magazine has been published for a lot longer than that, we’ll take you behind the scenes and show you how this wildlife magazine comes to life.
Rattlers on the Move – Rattlesnakes generally don’t like to hang out around humans, but every once in a while they find themselves a little closer to humanity than comfortable, that’s when biologists from the Arizona-Sonora Museum step in to relocate them.

Legends Clay Target Shoot - February 2008 saw the city of Glendale hosting Super Bowl 42. Before the kickoff, there were plenty of activities for residents and visitors alike and some local kids got to meet their sports heroes during the Legends Celebrity Clay Target Shoot.
Desert Tortoises - Sugarloaf Mountain has been the home of tortoise studies since the late 90’s. In this story we check up on the researchers as they continue to learn more from these ancient creatures of the desert.

Envirothon – The Canon Envirothon is an annual competition in which winning state and provincial teams compete for recognition and scholarships by demonstrating their knowledge of environmental science and natural resource management. This year’s national competition was held in Williams Arizona.

Biologists studying these tiny creatures give us a glimpse into the world of hummingbirds.

Gould’s Turkey Youth Hunt - In 2008 the AZ Game & Fish Commission offered Gould’s turkey permits in hunt unit 29 – the first time Gould’s had been hunted there since they were reintroduced. Everyone wanted those tags but only 2 very lucky hunters would be going afield.

Watercraft Law Enforcement School – Law enforcement on the water has teamed up with law enforcement on the road to keep both our lakes and roads safer. We show you some of the intense training Arizona Game and Fish officers go through to help protect the public.
Safe Harbor – A new agreement with the federal government will now allow endangered species to be released on private lands. Follow us on this first time release of endangered Gila Topminnow into a private pond through the Safe Harbor Agreement.
Dust Abatement – Dust kicked up by construction, farming and recreation vehicles is becoming a problem for air quality in Arizona. In this story we’ll let you know how you can help solve our pollution problems.
Tavasi Marsh – A former cow pasture near Cottonwood is returned to its former glory as Tavasi Marsh; a thriving wetland that is home to hundreds of birds and wildlife.
