The following proposals were received for the September 1, 2009 deadline for proposal submittal. They are grouped on this page by "species to benefit." If a project proposal lists multiple species to benefit, the proposal will appear in each species category. The project number appears at the beginning of each file name. Please pay attention to project numbers, as there may be more than one document for any given proposal (file plus its relevent attachments). There are currently 11 Local Habitat Partnership Committees (LHPC) and one affiliate member across the state, which comprise the Arizona Habitat Partnership Committee (AHPC).   All of these committees focus on putting money on the ground to improve habitat for big game species, with some of the projects also benefiting livestock.  The program’s primary funding source are Special Big Game Tag (SBGT) funds.
